About this program
A financing program developed in 1992 to help Ontario farmers cover crop planting, cultivating, and harvesting expenses. Offers lower-cost loans with up to 22 months for repayment, with amounts geared to actual cash costs of operation.
Eligibility
Available to Ontario producers for operating capital and crop inputs. Loan amounts are based on actual cash costs of operation at 70-75% of farm gate value and linked to Production Insurance Guarantee.
