Funding program to help agricultural producers install fencing to protect crops and property from wildlife damage, particularly elk. Protecting a farm from damage by wildlife is part of a farm's risk-management activities that protect both crops and wildlife.
Eligibility
Agricultural producers with titled agriculture property in production showing annual farm sales. Must have experienced and documented negative interactions with elk and damages due to elk. Game fencing must be 2.44 metres (8 feet) high or other designs (such as 3D or electric fencing) proposed for consideration.
