Frequently asked questions
What is Ag Alerts?
Ag Alerts is a service that helps Canadian farmers find and keep track of government grants, subsidies, and funding programs. We aggregate programs from federal and provincial sources, and email subscribers when new ones open.
How do the alerts work?
You tell us your province and farm type. When a new program opens that matches, we email you, so you never have to check dozens of government websites yourself.
How much does it cost?
Nothing for the core service. Browsing, searching (including AI search), and email alerts when new matching programs open are all free, no card required. An optional $12/month CAD Pro plan adds downloadable PDF reports and a printed report mailed to your farm.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click from the site or by emailing support@agalerts.ca. You keep access until the end of your current billing period; we do not bill partial months after cancellation.
Which provinces and programs do you cover?
We track federal programs plus provincial programs across Canada. The list shows only programs currently open for applications.
Do you apply for grants on my behalf?
No. We point you to the official program page where you apply directly. Ag Alerts is an independent information service and is not affiliated with any government agency.
How accurate and current is the information?
We monitor official program pages and refresh listings regularly. Programs change often, so always confirm details, eligibility, and deadlines on the official page before applying.
Will I qualify for these grants?
Eligibility varies by program. Each listing links to the official page where the full rules are stated. We help you discover programs; the program administrator decides eligibility.
Ready to stop missing grants?
Leave your email and we'll notify you when new programs match your farm. Free.
