Perennial Crop Development Program
About this program
A program designed to increase sustainability in PEI's agriculture sector by supporting the implementation of perennial crop development. It offers two sub-programs: one for establishing new perennial crop enterprises and another for improving efficiency through technology adoption and value-added processing.
Eligibility
Eligible recipients include Mi'kmaq First Nations and Indigenous groups, agricultural producers with at least $20,000 in gross farm sales (or enrolled in Future Farmer Program 2.0), small to medium-sized agri-businesses, agriculture industry organizations, and agricultural co-ops.
