About this program
Salary incentive program helping Nova Scotia employers hire recent graduates, covering 25-30% of first year salary and 12.5-15% of second year salary. The program prioritizes provincial strategic sectors including wind energy, oil and gas, seafood and agrifood, mining, defence/aerospace, housing/construction, and artificial intelligence/digital.
Eligibility
Nova Scotia employers (small businesses, start-ups, non-profits) in priority sectors hiring recent graduates into permanent full-time positions paying at least $37,500-$60,000 annually. Additional 10% subsidy available for graduates from equity-deserving groups including Indigenous peoples, African Nova Scotians, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, underrepresented women, and international graduates.
