About this program
Wage subsidy program providing $8/hour ($9.50 for diversity students) to organizations hiring post-secondary co-op students for 12-16 week work terms.
Eligibility
Private sector, non-profit, charitable organization, social enterprise, or municipality (not government-funded entities or provincial government reporting entities) that hire co-op students from Nova Scotia universities/colleges and pay at least $19.50/hour. 40% of funding targeted to priority sectors (wind, oil/gas, seafood, mining, defence, housing, AI).
