Livestock Incentive Loan Program
About this program
Loan guarantees to financial institutions for farmers purchasing and raising livestock. Loans up to $75,000 with guarantees up to 90% at prime + 1%; up to 18 months for feeder livestock or up to 7 years for breeding livestock.
Eligibility
Both full-time and part-time farmers may apply. Applicants must have a viable business plan demonstrating product demand, acceptable agricultural knowledge and credit history, at least 10% equity investment in the project, and acceptable security for financing.
