Provides compensation to ranchers whose livestock are killed or injured by wolves, grizzly bears, black bears, cougars and eagles.
Eligibility
Ranchers in Alberta whose cattle, bison, sheep, swine, goats, and cervids (as defined in the Domestic Cervid Industry Regulation) are killed or injured by wolves, grizzly bears, black bears, cougars or eagles. Horses and exotic animals are not eligible.
