About this program

Program helps landowners plant treed hedgerows and buffers to protect soil from erosion, prevent runoff, and create windbreaks for buildings and livestock.

Eligibility

Farmers, businesses and landowners with minimum 2.5 acres (1 hectare) of land and space to plant at least 300 seedlings. Property owner must agree to hedgerow planting. Applicant must agree to maintain and protect trees/shrubs for minimum 15 years.
