About this program
Provides two financing programs to support eligible farmers: Acreage Acquisition Loan (up to 100% at 6% for up to 150 acres, or up to 80% for up to 450 acres) and Young Farmers Low-Interest Loan (up to $1 million at 3% for ages 18-39, including barn/infrastructure financing).
Eligibility
Canadian citizens and permanent PEI residents with 5 years agriculture education/experience, valid business plan, and minimum $15,000 annual agricultural sales.
