Agri-land Accessibility and Enhancement Program
About this program
Supports the development of farmland for agriculture in New Brunswick including bringing formerly used agricultural lands back into production, enhancing new production fields, and improving existing farmland through activities such as land clearing, field consolidation, land levelling, site assessments, and wetland delineation. Supports sustainable farming practices, improved crop rotations, and expanded land base for crops and livestock feed production.
Eligibility
Indigenous peoples, agriculture producers, producer associations, and other groups capable of achieving program objectives who own or have long-term access to suitable land in New Brunswick.

Field consolidation: up to 30% of eligible costs. Land levelling: up to 30% of eligible costs. Site suitability assessment: up to 50% of eligible costs (max $40,000 per project over framework life). Wetland/watercourse delineation: up to 70% of eligible costs (max $2,100 per project). Elements 1-5 combined: max $7,000 annually (or up to $35,000 over 5-year framework with case-by-case approval for large projects).. See the official program page for full details.
